This Art Walk is for You, Art Lovers & Appreciators! Visit art spaces and see what local artists have to offer! In October, pick up an Art Walk Map at any participating gallery or studio. You can also download the 2008-9 Art Walk Guide from this website.
The vibrant color of the entire visual arts landscape is on view. To see the ART you WALK at your leisure through the studios and galleries, including The Ann Arbor Art Center, the U-M Museum of Art, and the U-M School of Art and Design.
This year's guide is 28 pages in a more durable booklet. It covers a region of
Washtenaw County from Dexter to the west, Ann Arbor in the
center, to Ypsilanti to the east. A map of the region appears in the
center of the Guide. The large region is divided into six areas, each
with a detail map and the sites listed in those areas. Ann Arbor
features four areas: Downtown, West Side, Kerrytown/North Main,
and the University of Michigan. Then comes the town of Dexter,
west of Ann Arbor, followed by Ypsilanti to the east.
